Modern design paired with perfect technology. That’s the new CS 550 of the brand Dual. The chassis is laquered with a special antistatic laquer in a timeless anthracite colour. The solid MDF chassis has a high rigidity and a low natural resonance. Vibrations, like for example impact noise, will be eliminated before they reach the platter and the motor. The high-class tonearm is only used on the top models CS 550 and CS 600 and was developed just for those turntables. The special hardened 7mm platter axle is turning almost frictionsless in the precise bearing made of brass. The platter is a heavy triple damped sandwich-platter with two damping rings. Additional it is effused with an special damping mass. This minimizes the natural resonance and improves, due to the heavy weight, the speed accuracy. To avoid any bad influences to the sound, we disclaimed on any kind of automatic function. Tonearm technology: The height-adjustable arm has a quadruple ball bearing Cardan joint and a particulary torsioinally rigid headshell mad of carbon fibre with ½“ mounting holes. Counterweight and antiskating are adjustable. Chassis technology: Vibration damping solid wood chassis. Heavy aluminium sandwich platter is weighted with copper rings and a cast damping mass is also located within the interior. The brass bearing is build for longlife and has a bearing mirror made of teflon. Drive technology: The platter is driven by a precision flat belt and a DC motor with electronic speed control. Cartridge is not included. Technical Specifications Speed in rpm: 33/45 Speed accuracy: +/- 0,05% Rumple unweighted signal-to-noise ratio: 53dB Rumple weighted signal-to-noise ratio: 75dB Connections: 1 x RCA Stereo Socket, 1 x Ground Socket Dimensions (WxHxD): 440 x 119 x 370mm Weight: 7.00 kg Colour: Anthracite Metalic Power supply: 12V DC, 150mA

The drive through a precision rubber belt eliminates further vibrations, which could be caused by the motor and could be transmitted through the platter to the cartridge. That's why the belt drive is the best kind of drive for a hifi turntable. Additional the CS 455-1 gives you the possibility to play grammophone records with 78 r/min. Thereofre you only have to change the needle. For the best ease of use the proven full-automatic system of the Black Forrest is built-in Cardan bearing with zero-mass tracking force setting, thanks to precision torsion spring. Detachable headshell with 13mm (1/2-inch) fixing-holes. Adjustable tracking force and anti-skating. Extremely rigid headshell made of carbon fiber. Chassis technology: Solid wooden chassis. Floating sub chassis. Vibration damping aluminium platter with antistatic felt mat. Drive technology: Belt drive with polished flat belt. DC motor with electronic speed control. Viscosity-damped arm lift. Automatic tone arm cue. Auto Stop with tone arm return. Playback option for archive disks with 78 rpm speed. Delivered with OM 10 cartridge. * Also available with built-in phono preamplifier נתונים טכניים Speed r/min.: 33/45/78 Speed accuracy: -/+ 0,07 % Rumple unweighted signal-to-noise ratio: 48 dB Rumple weighted signal-to-noise ratio: 72 dB Cartridge system: Ortofon OM 10 Frequency Response: 20 Hz - 22 kHz Depth sensing capability (300 Hz): 70 µm at 315 Hz Connections: 1 x RCA Stereo Cable, 1 x Ground Cable Dimensions (WxHxD): 420 x 133 x 360 mm Weight: 5,43 kg Colour: Black (Silver finish or Gold finish) / Silver Power supply: 12V DC, 150 mA

Semi-automatic turntable with newly developed auto-stop function. The special thing on this, the auto-stop function is electronic controlled, not by a mechanic. So it has no influence on the sound quality of the turntable. The solid chassis of the CS 526 comes from the CS 550, but here in black colour. Also the motor unit and the bearing are comming from the bigger brother. For the scanning we use the proven tonearm of the CS 505-4. The tracking force can be adjusted precise by a torsion spring. The antiskating force can be adjusted for cone-shaped needles or spherical-shaped needles individually. Therefore the CS 526 gives a lot of possibilities to use different cartridges. For protection of the tonearm and the chassis, a dustcover is included. Tonearm technology: Cardan bearing with massless stylus force set by a high-precision torsion spring. Rigid headshell made of carbon fiber with ½-inch fixing-holes. Adjustable tracking force and anti-skating. Viscosity damped tonearm lift. Chassis technology: Vibration damping solid wood chassis. Vibration damped aluminium platter with anti-static, thick felt mat. Drive technology: Belt driven by a precision flat belt. DC motor with electronic speed control. Special hardened 7mm axle.
