The Benz Glider is the hand built Swiss made moving coil cartridge distinguished by its open, free floating design, smooth response curve, and affordable price. Built upon a solid aluminum base, the moving coil cantilever assembly id free of body resonances. The Benz iron cross coil, generates the universal output level of 1.00mV, ideal for either MM or MC phono preamps. The Glider shares many qualities with the Benz wood body cartridge including micro-line stylus with face bonded shank, tapped mounting holes, and special generator damping materials. The glider`s overall weight of 6.5 grams and medium compliance allows excellent performance on most tonearms.
